Paisley Hawkhead

Paisley Hawkhead

Paisley Hawkhead (died 15 March, 1738 at age 82) was a British peer. He resided principally at Hawkhead, taking an active interest in county affairs even when advanced in years; and died there.

He strongly advocated the Union of the Parliaments, and was chosen one of the Representative Peers in 1715, and appointed Lieutenant of Renfrewshire at the same time.

His son George was the thirteenth Lord Ross.
