[cite web |url=http://www.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/fmq?call=KBJZ-LP |title=KBJZ-LP Facility Record |work=United States Federal Communications Commission, audio division]

It is known for its eccentric programming, including the freestylings of local hip-hop artists under the supervision of The Genius, international underground punk rock presented by local rocker David Conway, and, in the past, Collette Costa's daily 6AM-12PM "Morning Madame" program. KBJZ also includes a lesser-known weekly program, "Musical Explorations with Lucille and Grandpa," which offers a huge range of music for a variety of musical tastes.Fact|date=January 2008
