Lim Kim Choon

Major General Lim Kim Choon is a retired officer of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF). From 2001 to 2006, he was the Chief of the Republic of Singapore Air Force.

Lim joined the Singapore Armed Forces in 1976 and became the Chief of the Republic of Singapore Air Force on 1 April 2001. During his tenure as Chief, the RSAF acquired various new systems including the F-15SGs, AH-64 Apache, and SH-60 Seahawks. RSAF has also been involved in humanitarian operations in Aceh and in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina.

Lim retired from the military on 24 March 2006 and became the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. His position as Air Force Chief was replaced by Major General Ng Chee Khern.
