Theodore Woodward

Theodore E. Woodward (born March 22 1914, in Westminster, Maryland — died July 11 2005, in Baltimore, Maryland) was a renowned University of Maryland, Baltimore researcher in the field of Medicine. In 1934, he graduated from Franklin & Marshall College. [ [http://www.fandm.edu/Departments/communications/pressreleases/2001-02/060.html Press release] ] In 1948, he received a Nobel Prize nomination for his role in finding cures for typhus and typhoid fever.
