Thar Express

The Thar Express is the cross country train that connects Karachi in Pakistan to Jodhpur in India. Six kilometres apart, Munabao and Khokhrapar are the two last railway stations of India and Pakistan border respectively. It is the oldest existing train service between the two countries.

The train link has been revived after a period of 41 years on 18 February, 2006. The link was destroyed during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965.

Jamrao, Shadi Pali, Saeendad, Pithoro, Dhoro Naro, Chhore and Khokhrapar are some of the stations at the Pakistani side.

Barmer and Mirpur Khas are the customs and immigration check stations on Indian and Pakistani side respectively.
