2003 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy

2003 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy

The 2003 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy took place in the Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen, Netherlands. The event started August 16 and ended on August 24, 2003.

Participating nations at the annual men's elite six nations tournament were Australia, Argentina, India, Germany, Pakistan, and hosts and reigning champions Netherlands. The Germans turned up with a B-squad, because their best players got rest for the upcoming 2003 Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship in Barcelona, Spain.

The tournament was scheduled to be held in Milton Keynes, Great Britain, but due to financial problems the English Hockey Federation decided to withdraw its bid.
