Morasko (Poznań)

Morasko ( _de. Nordheim) is a suburban borough of Poznań, located by the northern border of the city. It covers a relatively large but lowly urbanised area. In the west it borders on the commune of Suchy Las, a resiliently developing area of housing construction. In the north-east and east it borders on the borough of Radojewo and in the east it does on Umultowo. In the south a part of Morasko called Huby Moraskie borders on Piątkowo, a large district built-up with multistorey buildings.

In the southern part of the borough, called Huby Moraskie there is a part of the new university campus spreading through the Różany Potok housing estate over to Umultowo. The campus is expected to gather those departments of the Adam Mickiewicz University which focus on the natural science.

The Morasko meteorite nature reserve is nearby, containing a group of meteorite craters and the highest point of Poznań - Mt. Morasko (157m asl).
