State Route 153 (SR 153) is a very short state highway in the U.S. state of California in El Dorado County. It extends only convert|0.5|mi|km from State Route 49, near the town of Coloma in the heart of California's Gold Country. The highway serves as a connector to Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park; specifically, ending near a monument marking the location of James Marshall's discovery of gold along the American River in 1848, sparking the California Gold Rush. The exact routing is from SR 49 south on Cold Springs Road to the park entrance and west on Monument Road in the park to the monument.
