Hrehory Chodkiewicz

Knyaz Grzegorz Chodkiewicz (Hrehory) ( _lt. Grigorijus Chodkevičius) - (c. 1514–1572), was Lithuanian nobleman and military officer, named Great Lithuanian Hetman in 1566. He was named Voivode of Vitsebsk in 1554, Voivode of Kiev in 1555 and in 1559 castellan of Trakai. In 1561 he led a campaign against Russia in Livonia. On January 20, 1564 he defeated the entire Russian army in a battle on Druckie fields. In 1566 he was nominated castellan of Vilnius, Field Lithuanian Hetman and later Great Lithuanian Hetman.
