The important temples in this village are Easwaramangalam Ganapathy Temple, Pariyanampatta Bhagavathy Temple, Uthrathil Kavu Bhagavathy Temple, Perumangode Sreevishnu Temple, Ayyankulangara Bhagavathy Temple, Mudavanamkavu Temple and Sreekrishnapuram Temple. Two Juma Mazjids are there in Sreekrishnapuram and located in Sheddumkunnu and Chandappura Junction. Christians are a minority in Sreekrishnapuram, but there are Churches in Sreekrishnapuram Panchayath, and are St:Joseph's Church, Katampazhippuram, St: Joseph's Church, Sreekrishnapuram and Lutheran Church, Sreekrishnapuram. The recent developments in Sreekrishnapuram changed the face of village a little, but still keeping the scenic beauty of village in most of the areas.

The Place Sreekrishnapuram includes Four "Desam", and the important temple of these "desam"s is Sreekrishna Temple, thus the name of the place became Sreekrishnapuram

Main attractions

The Major attraction of this Village is same like any other Valluvanadan Village and is its people. Eswaramangalam temple and Pariyarampatta Temple are famous through out the Kerla State. The Famous Elephant Tharavadu (Home) in Mangalamkunnu is very famous and it is the largest one owned by a private party in Kerala. Mangalamkunnu Ganapathy, Mangalamkunnu Karnan, Mangalamkunnu Ayyappan are few famous names of elephants among them. Kathakali is the major art in this village and the Perumangode Vishnu Temple hosts Kathakali at least once in a month. Famous Olappamanna Mana is located nearby village and it is very much famous for Kathakali and Film Shootings (Olappamanna Mana is the favorite location of famous Malayalam Film Artist Mohanlal). Sreekrishnapuram and Vellinezhi (8 km) are blessed with Kathakali Artists. If name a few, Late Kizhpadan Kumaran Nair and Kala, Kalamndalam Ramankutty Nair are the best performers.
