Settle railway station serves the town of Settle in North Yorkshire, England. It is operated by Northern Rail who provide all passenger train services. It is situated at the southern end of the Settle-Carlisle Line 66 km (41½ miles) north of Leeds.

The station dates from May 1876 (when it was opened along with the line) and is staffed on a part-time basis. There are a range of facilities available (including waiting room, toilets and a souvenir shop) in the main buildings on the southbound platform [ [http://www.settle-carlisle.co.uk/stations/settle/index.cfm?c_Stn=001 Settle station] ] . The platforms are linked by a footbridge that was formerly located at Guiseley until electrification of the Wharfedale line in 1994 made it redundant. It was then dismantled and re-erected here to allow the old foot crossing at the north end of the station to be taken out of regular use.

The old station signal box (abolished in 1984) [ [http://www.settlecarlislerailway.co.uk/a200_settle_carlisle_events.html Settle - Carlisle timeline] ] has been restored as a visitor attraction by the "Friends of the Settle - Carlisle Line" - it is located behind the southbound platform [ [http://www.visitcumbria.com/carlset/setstn.htm Visit Cumbria - Settle Station] ] and is open to the public at certain times [ [http://www.settle-carlisle.co.uk/projects.cfm Signal Box information] ] .

ervices
