Nochiya ( Syriac: ܢܒܟܝܐ, Kurdish: Navçiya, Turkish: Daĝ Içinde), was a sub-district located within center of the Shamizdin district which lies in the south-east part of Hakkari. The name Nochiya is a Kurdish meaning "between the mountains". The sub-district of Rustaqa lies in the heart of the Nochiya Region.
