St.Thomas School, Ranchi

St. Thomas School, Ranchi is one of the premier Schools in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. It was started in 1972 with the first batch taking the ICSE exams in 1982. In a short span it had established a name in education in Jharkhand (then Bihar). In the very third batch (1984) one student emerged as the topper in ICSE among boys all over Jharkhand. Since then it has not looked back and performs an important function in shaping the careers of the young students in Jharkhand. Many of the students have competed in the premier engineering, medical, MCA and MBA institutes of the country and are leading in their various fields all over the globe. Some good teachers have played a crucial role in the progress of the school & have left after rendering valuable service as assets to the school.

The school is registered under Marthoma Educational Society which has been managing the school since 1973.
