Magic Valley Christian School is a private non-denominational Christian school in Jerome, Idaho serving the Magic Valley including Jerome, Twin Falls and surrounding areas of Southern Idaho. Magic Valley Christian School is built on Christian set morals and conduct. The teachers work hard to engrave the word of God into the minds of the student body.

Mission statement
The mission of Magic Valley Christian School, a non-denominational school, is to assist the Christian family and/or the Christian student by providing Bible-based Christ-centered education that inspires each student to pursue excellence in leadership, moral character, academics, and service to others.

Magic Valley Christian School offers a variety of sports including: football, basketball, volleyball, cheer leading, golf, and track. Magic Valley Christian School has taken 1st (04-05)[2] and 4th (07-08)[3][4] in boys golf at the Idaho 1A/2A State tournament and 1st (08-09)[5] in girls golf at the Idaho 1A/2A State Tournament.
Many students such as Zach DeKruyf[6][7] and Kayleigh Reitsma[8] have continued playing golf (DeKruyf) and volleyball (Reitsma) at a college level.
Magic Valley Christian School competes against a variety of 1A schools throughout the Magic Valley including: Richfield, Dietrich, Camas County, Carey, Murtaugh, Twin Falls Christian Academy, Ketchum Community School and Lighthouse Christian School.
History
In 1993, a feasibility study was conducted to determine the community interest in a Christian High School. The response was overwhelmingly positive and plans were set in motion to start the school. Through the vision that expanded from three individuals to a steering committee of eight members, the school was founded as a corporation in 1994 and began operation in 1995.
Magic Valley Christian School approached several churches in the Magic Valley for the use of their facilities and First Christian Church welcomed the school. MVCS began its first year with 38 students, offering grades 7-10. A grade was added each year until the school graduated their first senior class in 1998.
In the summer of 1998, Magic Valley Christian School submitted a proposal to the congregation of the Twin Falls Reformed Church to use their facility. This was approved and the school moved into the TFRC facility later that summer.
In the Spring of 2007, through the generosity of many individuals in providing financial support, MVCS was able to propose a bid to purchase the Washington School building on South Lincoln in Jerome, ID. The Jerome School district accepted the bid and Magic Valley Christian School moved into their current facility later that summer.[9] Magic Valley Christian School has completed many renovations and improvements to the Washington School building while keeping its traditional look.[10]
