Etruria Hall

Etruria Hall

Etruria Hall in Etruria, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England was the home of the potter Josiah Wedgwood. It was built between 1768–1771 by Joseph Pickford.

Etruria Hall was the site of the substantial invention of photography, by Thomas Wedgwood, in the 1790s.

Due to financial difficulties, it was sold in the 1840s by Francis Wedgwood.

The house was restored as part of the 1986 Stoke-on-Trent Garden Festival and is now part of a four-star Moat House hotel. It is near the site of the Etruria Works, which has been redeveloped.
