INSP - The Inspiration Network is a Christian television network headquartered in Indian Land, South Carolina near
Charlotte, North Carolina. The Inspiration Networks is a major international ministry and inspirational media company that was founded in 1990. The organization serves viewers through its cable television networks: INSP – The Inspiration Network, Inspirational Life Television (i-Lifetv), and the Spanish-language network La Familia Cosmovision (LFC). The Inspiration Networks also owns and operates the international network Inspiration Network International (INI), which is seen throughout Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.
The family of networks offered by The Inspiration Networks is seen in more than 30 million homes in the U.S. and more than 55 million homes in the pan-European region.Fact|date=August 2008
The organization also own and operates
MediaComm, a tele-production facility in the southeast U.S. The for-profit subsidiary serves a clients with services that include video graphics, editing, studio production, satellite uplinking and fiber transmission.
The channel came out of the "Praise The Lord" (PTL) Television Network (also known as PTL - The Inspirational Network), founded in the late-1970s by
Jim Bakker, a televangelist notable for his daily Christian variety program, " The PTL Club". In 1990, following Bakker's scandalous fall from grace that had bankrupted the PTL ministry and Heritage USA, televangelist Morris Cerulloand his son, David, acquired the network and rebranded it "The New Inspirational Network", later becoming simply "INSP - The Inspirational Network" and today known as "INSP - The Inspiration Network". They also relocated the facilities from Heritage USA in Fort Mill, South Carolinato a newly constructed production studio and headquarters in a business park a few miles away just over the state line in Charlotte.

Plans were announced in late 2005 for the construction of the City of Light, a new broadcast facility and ministry campus/headquarters in
