The Two Faces of Islam

The Two Faces of Islam

"The Two Faces of Islam: The House of Sa'ud from Tradition to Terror" is a book by investigative journalist Stephen Schwartz.

In the book, Schwartz explains the history and the beliefs of the radical Muslim sects that have sprung up over the past fifteen centuries. He focuses on Wahhabism, the puritanical sect to which Osama bin Laden belongs and which is the official creed of the Saudis who have worked tirelessly to export their extreme brand of fundamentalism to the rest of the world.

Schwartz argues that Osama bin Laden and his followers are not really fighting a war against America; rather, they are engaged in a Jihad or holy war to reshape Islam globally and destroy the infidel world.
