Huda

Huda is the Arabic word for "guidance" or "guide". In Islamic context, the Qur'an itself is considered a "huda", a (true) guidance. "Compare: Naseeha"

Huda is also a popular Muslim name for girls. In some part of the world, like Indonesia, it is also a name used for boys. Words from the same root are: "hidaya"(guidance) and "hadi" (guide [masculine] ).

HUDA is also an acronym for the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority, the urban planning agency of the city of Hyderabad India that was expanded and renamed Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority.
