This was St. Francis's 3rd (1990 &1992) ever Soccer Championship and the first one in 12 years. The Browns finished 6th in the regular season a 1-1-4 record, 5GF and 6GA. 2005 saw the defending champions St. Francis finish 4th in the season with a 4-3 record, with 16 GF and 9 A. With a large core of the championship winning team having graduated it was always going to be a challenge for the 2005 Browns to replicate that success. While they had a successful season and were confident going into the playoffs they unfortunately lost in the first round of the playoffs to William Aberhart High School who scored in the 85th minute of the match to win the game 1-0 and end the Browns chance of back-to-back titles.

They played the defending champions Bishop Grandin Ghosts in the first round and lost 2-1 in a close match that could have easily gone the other way.

The 2008 season was full of unexpected achievements and events. The team came off an encouraging season in 2007 and with only two seniors on that team expectations were high for this years squad.A lot of promising rookies made the team and a City Championship was a realistic goal. Before the season even started injuries hit the Browns squad very hard. A squad of 24 turned into a squad of 15 in a matter of weeks and the depth that the Browns coaching staff was banking on was suddenly gone. They finished the season with a 2-3-2 recored with 13GF and 13GA. They were supposed to go into the playoffs ranked as the #5 team but because not every team played all of their matches due to the poor playing conditions the Browns finished in 6th place based on winning percentage and played the Bishop Grandin Ghosts for the 2nd year in a row. The Browns ended up losing to the Ghosts 3-1 but they did have their chances to win the game.
