Gosford Railway Station is located in Gosford on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia on the Newcastle & Central Coast Line. The station has three platforms, including one for terminating intercity trains from Sydney.

The station is served by intercity trains to Sydney and Newcastle. In addition CountryLink XPT and Xplorers service the station travelling between Sydney and Brisbane, Armidale and Moree. The frequency of service by CityRail ranges from approximately 2 trains per hour in each direction in the off-peak and up to 12 trains per hour in peak times.

Gosford Railway Station was opened officially on August 15, 1887. The coming of the railway marked the beginning of a new era for the district which had depended beforehand on water transport for its goods. The line was then extended, but it was not possible to go through to Sydney entirely by rail until the Hawkesbury River Bridge was opened in 1889.Dundon, 1978, p18]

The station has a small cafe located on the island platform, underneath the stairs. There are also stabling yards located just north of the station.cite web | title = State Rail Authority of New South Wales | work = Rail Corporation New South Wales | publisher = New South Wales Government | url = https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/railcorp/shared/download.cfm?p_view=0&p_displayContext=front-end&p_id=10067&p_docname=SummaryE.pdf&p_type=S | accessdate = 2007-09-20] From 1995 to 2006 a CountryLink travel agency was located at the station.cite news | last = Branley | first = Alison | title = Mixed feelings as ticket office closes doors | work = Central Coast Express Advocate | pages = 13 | publisher = Central Coast Express Advocate| date = 2006-04-01]
