Mohammad Sharif (Afghanistan)

Professor Mohammed Sharif, son of Mohammad Yousuf, was born in Panjshir Province, Afganistan, north of the capital Kabul, in June 1957. He completed his education in the country and is a Master of Mathematics and Physics. He has written some books in the field of Physics. Beside his professional area, he is an intellectual figure who spends his spare time reading Persian poetry.

Prof. Sharifi, has worked in the following posts:
* Head of Education of Central Zone, USA
* Head of Information and Culture of Parwan Province
* Acting-governor of Parwan Province

In March 2002 he was appointed as the Auditor General of the Control and Audit Office (CAO) of Afghanistan. Since his appointment as Auditor General, significant changes have been made in the CAO. Despite his involvement in politics, he has maintained his post as a senior lecturer at Roshan School.
