Local Community Party

Local Community Party

The Local Community Party is a minor political party in England, based in Tameside. Founded in 2003, the party is led by Jack Crossfield, who stood in the 2005 UK general election in Ashton under Lyne and received 570 votes.

The party calls for the withdrawal of British troops from Iraq, and for the troops instead to defend the UK from terrorism and illegal immigrants. They also call for free transport for the elderly and the abolition of standing charges for essential services.
