"If That Were Me" is a song by Melanie C, released as the fifth and final single from her debut solo album, "Northern Star". It was released on November 27, 2000. It debuted and peaked at UK number-eighteen. This was a charity single and all money from CD single sales was send to help people who are living in the streets.

Music Video

This music video shows Melanie in various scenes including the top of a factory type balcony and around a few urban buildings with wind and Melanie somewhat curling her arms around herself from the cold. There are also scenes of rain in alleyways, some scenes see her with tears.
