"Room 6" is a 2006 horror film starring Christine Taylor, Shane Brolly, Jerry O'Connell, and Ellie Cornell.

The film is about a woman, Amy (Christine Taylor), who must face her greatest fears, when her fiancé, Nick (Shane Brolly), is taken to a mysterious hospital after a nearly fatal car crash. As mysterious events begin to transpire around her, she comes to realize she must confront her demons, figurative and literal, if she is to save her lover.

The film was directed and co-written by Michael Hurst. Mark A. Altman also helped pen the film.

* The story is actually the Amy character's journey through self-forgiveness. Toward the end, it is revealed through flashback that, as a child, Amy was coerced by her dying father to euthanize him. Amy eventually awakens from her horror-hospital nightmare, and finds herself seated shotgun in the car, and slowly dying. Her boyfriend is seated behind the steering wheel, relatively unharmed by the car accident.
* This film shares Gothic plot elements and characterizations found in Ambrose Bierce' classic short-story "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge", and Herk Harvey's film "Carnival of Souls".
