Lisianthus

Lisianthus Eustoma, [While never mentioned in the series, the official "Shuffle! Visual Fan Book" (p.58) states that Eustoma is in fact Sia's "technical name" (in other words, her surname). Her full name is spelt リシアンサス ユーストマ ("Rishiansasu Yūsutoma") in Japanese. Her nickname, Sia, is spelt シア ("Shia")] or Sia for short, is one of the main characters in Navel's "Shuffle!" media franchise. She is the princess of the god world attending Verbana Academy and came to the human world as a possible marriage candidate for Rin Tsuchimi.

Lisianthus is the only daughter of Eustoma and Cineraria, making her actually half-god, half-devil, but she only inherited the god racial characteristics of her father. Through Cineraria, she is Forbesii's niece and Nerine's cousin. She is also the non-biological daughter of Iris and Liliac, as Eustoma practices polygamy. Despite her fondness for her father, Lisianthus has a habit of hitting him with a folding chair, in a fashion similar to WWE, if he embarrasses her in front of her friends.

Lisianthus is named after the "Eustoma russellianum", or Bolero Deep Blue, of what used to be known as the "Lisianthus" genus."Shuffle! Visual Fan Book", p. 7.] In "hanakotoba", (the Japanese language of flowers), this flower has connotations of "hope", "wish", or "aspiration".

Lisianthus is voiced by Sayaka Aoki and was designed by Aoi Nishimata. She is voiced by Brittney Karbowski in the English version of the anime.

Kikyou

In order to save her sister, Sia absorbed Kikyou's soul into her own body. As a consequence, Kikyou's personality sometimes emerges, and the two share the body, not always comfortably.

While Sia inherited her father's god traits, Kikyou is the devil side of Sia's split heritage and resides in Sia's unconscious. [Untranslation quote - 裏シア: リシアンサスの中で眠っているもう一つの存在。リシアンサスの中にいる魔族の妹

When Kikyou takes control of the body, there is a slight physical change in her appearance. Kikyou narrows her eyes more than Sia and has her eyebrows set lower. Personality-wise, Kikyou is much more flirtatious and sexually aggressive than Sia is.

In Japanese, "kikyō" (桔梗) refers to the Chinese bellflower.
