"Dearest" is the 24th single released by Ayumi Hamasaki. It was released September 27, 2001. It is featured on the Best of InuYasha Soundtrack. It was the 3rd ending theme of the anime series InuYasha.

Synopsis (Original Version)

It begins with Ayumi on her sofa, then, it shows another scene where businesspeople are on a table talking about Ayumi, then the scene changes to Ayumi where she takes her glass but one of her servants takes it and changes the drink and all of the servants smile, the song begins while she is singing at a mirror, then, Ayumi and her bodyguards are walking, then her look changes to a blond haired woman with a cow girl hat on her head, after she is seen in a car, In the chorus, they walk into the rain and paparazzi are there, Ayumi covers her face with her hand and the guards try to get rid of paparazzi, after, Ayumi runs away from the paparazzi and guards and changes into a pink outfit, then a little girl gives her sweets, and everyone looks around and smiles at Ayumi, after, she is chased by her guards and she changes into a black outfit, after, one of the guards slip, then, changes the scene, where Ayumi is on a field in front of windmills.

Synopsis (Acoustic Piano version)

This video version aired the day after the main version on the 7th, this time in the music video she is on the same field from the original version in front of the windmills.
