Many of his works are known by a variety of numbers due to the massive output of his compositions and Haydn's various systems of numbering pieces. One of the Violin Concerto's was lost, but No. 1 and No. 2 are commonly performed. A complete list of Haydn's works can be found in the 'International Cyclopedia.'
