census-designated place(CDP) located in the town of Lee in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 2,021 at the 2000 census.

According to the
United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.5 km²(1.4 mi²), all land.
As of the
censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 2,021 people, 901 households, and 500 families residing in the CDP. The population densitywas 573.8/km² (1,481.9/mi²). There were 953 housing units at an average density of 270.6/km² (698.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 95.50% White, 1.39% Black or African American, 0.15% Native American, 0.89% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 1.24% from other races, and 0.79% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.50% of the population.
There were 901 households out of which 27.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.4% were married couples living together, 10.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 44.4% were non-families. 38.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 16.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.20 and the average family size was 2.88.
In the CDP the population was spread out with 21.8% under the age of 18, 9.0% from 18 to 24, 29.4% from 25 to 44, 22.9% from 45 to 64, and 17.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females there were 89.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 89.8 males.
The median income for a household in the CDP was $32,183, and the median income for a family was $41,588. Males had a median income of $32,188 versus $25,741 for females. The
