Dumfries and Galloway.
Located on the
A75 roadbetween Stranraerand Newton Stewartit is in the traditional county of Wigtownshire. Glenluce Abbeyis nearby at gbmappingsmall|NX185588.
Its main centre runs along the main street, which until recently was relatively busy until the bypass was built. There is a post office, two general stores, and a town hall.
Each year around September, there is a vehicle show in the nearby
Glenluce parkwhere people show off anything from vintage tractors to the most recent cars.
