Joseph (Joe) James Wolf (born December 17 1964 in Kohler, Wisconsin) is a retired American professional basketball player in the NBA. He was the 13th overall pick of the 1987 NBA Draft, selected by the Los Angeles Clippers. He played college basketball at the University of North Carolina. He averaged 4.2 points and 3.3 rebounds per game throughout a 11 year professional career. While he was also a player in the NBA, Wolf also owned a local Dairy Queen in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.Fact|date=May 2007

In February of 2005, a vote was conducted by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel to select the all-time Wisconsin high school boys basketball team. As a result of this vote, Joe Wolf was named Wisconsin's all-time greatest high school basketball player based on his dominant 4 year performance at Kohler High School.

Formerly the head coach of the Idaho Stampede of the Continental Basketball Associationand the Colorado 14ers of the NBA Development League, Wolf recently joined the coaching staff of the Milwaukee Bucks, led by Scott Skiles.

Got hit in the groin by Dennis Rodman in a game at Chicago in 1997, Rodman was suspended for one game.

Has worn 8 different jersey numbers in his NBA career, the most of any player. The number 17 in his second stint with the Nuggets was chosen because of his birthdate. His final stint in the NBA was a 10 day contract with the Charlotte Hornets in 1999.
