All-China Gaelic Games

All-China Gaelic Games

The All-China Gaelic games is a Gaelic games tournament held annually in China between club teams under the auspices of the Gaelic Athletic Association.

The tournament is primarily a one day event, with both men's and ladies' teams competing in Gaelic football. Exhibition games have also been held in International (compromised) rules, and Hurling.

Participant players in the competition are primarily expatriate Irish. However, players from 22 separate nations competed in the "3rd All-China Gaelic games (2005)", and represented clubs from Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Dalian, Taiwan and Beijing

As of May 15, 2005, Beijing are the current men's champions, while Hong Kong hold the ladies' title.

In April 2006 the tournament was held in Shenzhen, where the men's and women's final was won both by Hong Kong

The 2008 Games were held in Beijing, June 8th, where the Men's competition was won by Shanghai, and the Women's by Beijing.
