Cocada amarela

Originating from Angola, Cocada amarela is a heavy dessert made principally from eggs and coconut[1][2] and has a distinctive yellow colour due to the quantity of eggs it contains.

Angola was established as a Portuguese colony and its food and cuisine is strongly influenced by Portuguese cuisine.
