John J. Blaine

John J. Blaine

John James Blaine (May 4, 1875ndash April 18, 1934) was the 24th Governor of Wisconsin and a United States Senator. He was born in Wingville, Sauk County, Wisconsin. He died in Boscobel, Wisconsin, and was buried there.

Blaine was the only senator to vote against ratification of the Kellogg-Briand Pact.
