Sudbury transmitting station

The Sudbury transmitting station is a facility for telecommunications and broadcasting
transmission at Sudbury, England. It included two 138 metre (452 foot) tall guyed masts which have antennas attached at various heights. It is situated 14 miles WSW of Ipswich at a site height of 70m.It transmits all five analogue channels, 1 to 4 at 250kW and C5 at 50kW.All 6 Digital MUXES are transmitted but it has a [http://www.aerialsandtv.com/sudburytx.html#SudburyDigitalTransmissions restricted radiation pattern] for some of them. MUX2 is also transmitted by a supplementary transmitter "Sudbury B", but at low power.Originally Sudbury was a B group transmitter but in order to accommodate the Digital transmissions it is now an E group (or wideband).
