Ynetnews is an
English language Israelnews and content website operated by " Yedioth Ahronoth", Israel’s most-read newspaper, and the Hebrew Israel news portal, Ynet. The Yedioth Group also owns stocks in the Israeli TV Channel " Channel 2"; "Hot", the Cable TV company, weekly local newspapers, magazines, and other non-media companies. Ynetnews editor Yon Federis being appointed to be editor of Yedioth Ahronoth.
Ynetnews was established in 2005 in
Tel Avivwith the goal of providing the Israelicommunity and its readers worldwide reporting and real-time breaking news from Israeland the Middle East. The Founding Editor of Ynetnews, Alan Abbey, left in the summer of 2005 to form his own media company, Abbey Content Enterprises, and Ynetnews is now headed by Yon Feder, Editor-in-Chief of Ynet.
Ynetnews’ team of translators and editors provide 24/7 coverage of news from Israel and the
Middle East, based on the reporting and writing of Ynet and from " Yedioth Ahronoth" and other publications of the parent company, Yedioth Group.
