Sitamau is a town and a nagar panchayat in Mandsaur district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is in the Mandsaur district of Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh.

History

A small princely state before 1947, it was founded in 1701, and was ruled by the Rathore dynasty. The total area of the state was 523 square kilometres. [cite web
