She released a collection of home recordings called "Lalleshwari / Lullabies in a Glasswilderness" in 2006. As part of their extensive collaboration, James Sutton also made a collection of short films to go with this album.

Garside also co-created the comic book entitled "Indigo Vertigo" with Daniel Schaffer. Another comic book produced with Daniel Schaffer is "Lesions in the Brain".

Her sister, Melanie Garside, also has a career in music, and was briefly the bass player for Queen Adreena.

Former Hole frontwoman Courtney Love once cited KatieJane as one of the first real Riot Grrrls, along with Kat Bjelland of Babes in Toyland and herself. Fact|date=June 2007
