The village of Burghill has a fine Norman church, St Mary the Virgin, and a village hall, the Simpson Hall, that has been recently modernised. There is an excellent golf club, Burghill Valley Golf Club, in the heart of the village.The whole area is surrounded by beautiful apple and pear orchards and is a delightful centre for tourism.
The local pub is the "Bell Inn", situated between Burghill and Tillington. The pub has an excellent reputation for food and good ale.
