The Pyrenean Desman ("Galemys pyrenaicus") is a small semi-aquatic mammal that lives in the Pyrenees to the Iberian peninsula. The Pyrenean Desman is the only species within the genus "Galemys". The Pyrenean Desman lives in the wetlands and temperate areas.fact|date=December 2007

This mole lives in pairs. It is 11 to 16 cm long with a tail of 12 to 16 cm. It weighs 35 to 80 g. The Pyrenean Desman can live at least 3.5 years.
