Sue Ennis

Sue Ennis

Sue Ennis is a Seattle songwriter whose songs include Straight On, Even It Up and Dog and Butterfly. She co-wrote the theme from "The Golden Child" starring Eddie Murphy with John Berry, Ann and Nancy Wilson. Her songs have also appeared in "Thomas and The Magic Railroad", a feature film from 2000. In 2004, she and co-writer Hummie Mann won a Soundie award (Puget Sound Advertising Award) for their jingle for State Roofing. In 2005, Mann and Ennis co-wrote "Saving Up Christmas", the first single release from the Captain and Tennille in 8 years.

Sue Ennis was also a member of the band The Lovemongers, formed by Ann and Nancy Wilson, in the late 1990's.

Sue Ennis and Hummie Mann are currently writing a musical about high school for the Seattle Children's Theatre.
