Syed Nazeer husain

Imam Syed Nazeer Husain (1805-1901) was one of the most important Islamic leaders of his time in India. He was born in Mongyr (Bihar), and died in Delhi. Imam Husain was the student of Shah Mohammad Ishaq Dehlawi, and some of Imam Husain's many students became Islamic scholars and leaders. Imam Shams-ul-haq Azeemabadi, Moulana Fazl Husain Muzaffarpuri, and Mohammad Tanzeel-ul-siddiqi al-husaini have written sketches of the life of Imam Syed Nazeer Husain.
