Holt, Rinehart and Winston

Holt, Rinehart and Winston, sometimes abbreviated as HRW or referred to as Holt, is an Austin, Texas based publishing company, that specializes in textbooks for use in secondary schools. It is a division of Harcourt Education, which is a subsidiary of Reed Elsevier.

HRW has published textbooks on mathematics, language arts, social studies, science, health, and world language (French, Spanish, and German). They have also published children's books for the Weekly Reader Book Club, including Sweet Pickles, Fraggle Rock, and Snoopy.

HRW Online

Holt Rinehart and Winston also has an online component for students using the HRW textbooks at school. To use this online textbook, teachers assign a password and username. Students can then access the textbook, assignments, and quizzes using this information.
