Norton is a small village in Suffolk, England. The nearest town is Bury St. Edmunds. It has 1 Greene King Pub - "The Dog" which is more of a restaurant than a daily boozer. The Village Shop is the [Total] Service Station on Woolpit Road which also holds a Garage for MOTS/Services etc. The service Station used to hold the local Post Office but since new owners moved in in 2008 they closed that side of the business. However, from June 2009 a Mobile Post Office is situated Mon-Fri 2.30-4.30 next to the Village Hall.

Norton has a Primary School and a Recent Pre-School situated next to the Village Hall. From there, kids go to Ixworth Middle School (some go to Beyton Middle School) and then on to Thurston Community College

The church St Andrews is in the benifice of Tostock and Pakenham. The head of the benifice is the reverend Ian Hooper.

Tha parish council meet every month, usually on the first Monday of the month, in one of the small rooms located in the Village Hall.
