Jefferson Holt

Jefferson Holt is the former manager of rock band R.E.M., from 1981-1996. He was reportedly fired over a sexual harassment case that was settled out-of-court. [cite news

Holt is referenced in the 1985 R.E.M. song "Cant Get There from Here" ("lawyer Jeff he knows the low-down"), and also in the song "Little America," from 1984's "Reckoning" album.
