East Japan Railway Company (JR East) on theŌu Main Line in Aomori,Aomori Prefecture .It will be rebuilt to become the terminus of the
Tōhoku Shinkansen extension due to open in 2010.Lines

The station consists of a single bi-directional platform serving a single track.
From 2010, the station is scheduled to have a single island platform for Ōu Main Line trains, serving two tracks. The shinkansen station will consist of two island platforms serving four tracks.
