Indus Air

Indus Air was a regional domestic low-cost airline based in Ghaziabad, India. It operates domestic services. Its main base is Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. It does not function as of 2008.

History

In October 2005 it had been reported that "liquor baron" Kapil Mohan, of Mohan Meakins, along with other Indian businessmen, had invested in Indus Airways. They had plans to start services by the end of October 2005 using two Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft leased from Lufthansa. These two CRJ-200LRs are ex Independence Air aircraft from the USA, N643BR and N644BR. Three more CRJ aircraft were expected by December and a fleet of 10 aircraft was planned, including three Boeing 737-800s and two Bombardier CRJ-700s.Fact|date=June 2007

*Mumbai

Indus air has cancelled its registration of the two aircraftVT-IOA & VT-IOB & is not flying currently
