It was announced on 22 May 2006 that Stubbs would be appearing in "EastEnders", acting alongside her good friends Barbara Windsor and her ex-husband Nicky Henson, playing Caroline Bishop, the aunt of Honey Mitchell. Stubbs has also appeared in "The Catherine Tate Show" playing various characters.

Personal life

Stubbs was married to the actor Peter Gilmore from 1958 to 1969. With Gilmore she adopted a son Jason Gilmore . After their divorce, she married actor Nicky Henson in 1969, divorcing in 1975. For many years, Stubbs has sketched vignettes of the quirkier characters she sees around London, and has recently been persuaded to hold exhibitions at a small gallery near her Mayfair home.
