Vasant Abaji Dahake

Vasant Abaji Dahake (born 1942) is a Marathi poet, playwright, short story writer, artist and critic. His collection of poems are 'Yogabhrast', 'Shubha Vartaman' 'Shunah Shepa' and more recently `Chitralipi'. His novellas are 'Adholoka' and 'Pratibadha and Martya'.

His writings show a deep influence of the existential philosophy and the existentialist writers like Kafka. His poetry is often dark and provocative.

Ranjit Hoskote and Mangesh Kulkarni have translated some of his poems as 'Terrorist of Spirit'.
