Shannon Hegarty (born 14 June 1979 in Brisbane, Queensland) is an Australian rugby league player for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the National Rugby League competition and also for Queensland & Australia. He previously played for the Sydney Roosters for several years. His position of choice is at Centre or Wing.

Hegarty has posed with teammates Nathanael Barnes and Luke Grant for the upcoming "Gods Of Football" charity calendar.
