Wood-Tikchik State Park

Wood-Tikchik State Park is a state park in the U.S. state of Alaska north of Dillingham. Over 1.6 million acres (6,500 km²) in area—about the size of the state of Delaware, it is the largest state park in Alaska, [ [http://www.dnr.state.ak.us/parks/units/woodtik.htm Wood-Tikchik State Park, Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, Alaska Department of Natural Resources] ] and one of the largest in the nation.

It is one of only two state parks in western Alaska, along with the much smaller Lake Aleknagik State Recreation Site.
